"UL Lafayette archaeology students went to Avery Island yesterday to meticulously clean the remains of the original TABASCO Sauce factory (operated 1868 to 1905) — the symbolic and perhaps even literal birthplace of TABASCO Sauce.  The University of Alabama excavated the site nearly a quarter-century ago." - Mr. Shane Bernard.
